Transitional and Independent Living (TAIL) Programs
Building you up from where you are.
OUR MISSION
At Restored Bridges, LLC, we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals in their journey of independence. Our mission is to help our residents live as independently as possible and achieve a successful transition back into their communities.
Restored Bridges, LLC offers transitional and independent residential living programs and services to adults. Our goal is to help residents learn and maintain self-sufficiency regardless of their past or current level of functioning.
INDEPENDENT RESIDENTIAL LIVING (IDD)
Our Independent Living Program is for adults ages 22 and over. Our program is designed to keep moderate to high functioning adults, with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, out of state institutions.
Our program offers a broad range of services to help them live as independently as possible in the community. Our residents engage in day programming where a staff member comes into the home and teaches each resident, one on one, daily living and socialization skills. We teach our residents how to cook, clean, and maintain their home and living space. We also teach our residents how to apply for jobs, interview and maintain good conduct in their work roles. In addition, we support our residents who are interested in obtaining an education or starting a business. We also provide access for our residents to engage in community activities such as the gym, church, or other community events of the resident’s interest.
TRANSITIONAL RESIDENTIAL LIVING
Our Transitional Living Program offers transitional housing and programming for young adults ages 18 to 24. This program is designed for young adults who are transitioning out of the foster care system and in need of continued support as they transition into adulthood.
Many youth who age out of foster care end up homeless, hospitalized, incarcerated or in the mental health system. We teach them the skills they need to succeed independently including self-sufficiency skills, community reintegration, education and vocational skills.
We offer small program sizes for individualized undivided support to each member. Residents are typically long term unless they are discharged from the program or no longer meet the requirement for the service. All of our independent living homes and programs are licensed and insured as required by the state.
